| "Sokkias "Prolink" is STRONGLY suggested to download coordinates from any Sokkia Total Station. In Prolink, select and and create a new project with a blank Field Book. From here, click on and . Click on and use SDR33/31 option. Click on and make sure that you are matching baud rates with that of the SET. Also you will want to select the option for .
In addition, you need to use the option for file format. Hit . You will also want to click on the "Use Job Name" box on this screen. Now hit OK and it will say, "Waiting to Receive". From the Main Menu, select the option. Now you must select the option. Now select the . Hit on the Job that you want to send. It should say "Out" Make sure that all of your Comms parameters are matching with Prolink and hit .
The data will be sent and Prolink should be receiving the data. If you need to change your Comms parameters, then it is done through and then . Here you can select baud rate. This is the only option that you should change. Generally, a 9600 baud rate is the best to use.
NOTE:If you do change this, than make sure that you change it back to 1200 to use with a data collector (OR IT WILL NOT COMMUNICATE). |
