Follow the steps below to configure your SDR33 data collector for your Leica TPS300 or TPS1100 Total Station.

Note: Make sure you use the latest SDR firmware ver. 4.26. Also, BIOS ver. must be higher than 3.01 (between 3.01 and 3.09). To check this from main menu of the SDR ; Function, then Hardware, then System, then BIOS.

Step Action

1. From the SDR33 main menu, select (F1) FUNC FUNC.

2. Select Instrument Instrument, press OK.

3. Make the following settings:

Type Total Stn

Model TC/TCM Series

Then press OK OK.

4. Select Communications Communications, press OK OK.

5. From the Communications screen, select (F2) COM COM, press OK OK.

6. Make the following settings:

Port Top

Modem No

Baud Rate 2400

Word Length 7

Parity Even

Stop Bit 1

Output Delay 0

Then press OK OK. Your SDR33 is now configured to work with your TPS300 or TPS1100 Total Station!

7. Finally, make sure your Total Station is configured for the SDR33 data collector. See the following sections to configure your instrument.
