Follow the steps below to configure your TDS/Husky data collector for your Leica TPS300 or TPS1100 Total Station.

Step Action

1 From the TDS Main Menu, select (B) System Setup

2 Select (B) Total Station Setup

3 From the Devices Menu, make the following settings:

Instrument Leica

Model Select:

· TPS Series with TPS1100

· TC1610/500 with TPS300

Instrument Enable

Instrument Distance Unit Make sure the units are the same as on the instrument. Dist Measuring If your not sure which mode to run in, select Single

4 Press the Exit key.

5 From the Comm Parameters screen, make the following settings:

Baud rate 9600

Parity Even

Use Tracklight Utilize Tracklight if your instrument has an EGL1 tracklight Remote Control Use Remote Control Mode for TCA instruments only.

6 Press the Exit key.

Your TDS is now configured to work with your TPS300 or TPS1100 Total Station!

7 Finally, make sure your Total Station is configured for the SDR33 data collector. See the following sections to configure your instrument.
